Terms of Use

Article 1 – Purpose

These Terms of Use (ToU) set out the conditions for accessing and using the Site.

The Site is a presentation page for the FamilyLegacy project and allows registration on a waiting list.

The information published does not constitute a binding contractual offer.

Article 2 – Registration on the waiting list

Registration on the waiting list does not constitute:

  • The opening of a customer account;
  • A guarantee of access to the beta version;
  • The conclusion of a service contract.

FamilyLegacy Sàrl reserves the right to grant access progressively and at its sole discretion.

Article 3 – Nature of the service

FamilyLegacy is a tool for facilitating and organising wealth matters.

FamilyLegacy Sàrl:

  • Is not a bank;
  • Is not a wealth manager;
  • Is not a financial intermediary within the meaning of FINMASA;
  • Does not provide any legal, tax, financial, wealth or psychological advice.

Decisions made on the basis of the information presented are the sole responsibility of users.

Article 4 – Limitation of liability

FamilyLegacy Sàrl cannot be held liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential or intangible damages;
  • Wealth-related decisions made by users;
  • Family conflicts arising from the use of the information or tools presented;
  • Technical interruptions beyond its control.

Any liability of FamilyLegacy Sàrl is limited under the conditions and limits provided for by Swiss law.

Article 5 – Security

FamilyLegacy Sàrl implements security standards in line with industry practices.

However, no IT system can guarantee absolute security.

Article 6 – Intellectual property

All elements making up the Site (texts, trademarks, logos, software architecture, design, concepts, databases) are protected by intellectual property law.

Any unauthorised reproduction, substantial extraction, reverse engineering or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

Article 7 – Amendments to the ToU

FamilyLegacy Sàrl reserves the right to amend these ToU at any time.

The applicable version is the one in force on the date the Site is accessed.

Article 8 – Severability

If any provision of these ToU is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain fully applicable.

Article 9 – Governing law and jurisdiction

These ToU are governed by Swiss law.

Any dispute relating to the use of the Site falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Vaud, subject to appeal to the Federal Supreme Court.
